Key star left feeling snubbed after birthday celebrations.
Manchester City star Yaya Touré has fuelled speculation that he is heading out of the Etihad after saying that he doesn’t know where he will be plying his trade next season.
When asked about comments by his agent, Dimitri Seluk, Touré said about his future that “everything is open.” He continued on to say that he will clarify after the World Cup.
The news comes on the back of the Ivory Coast national reportedly feeling “very upset” about feeling disrespected by the club’s owners during the club’s birthday celebrations for him.
Touré has repeatedly voiced ambitions to end his career at Barcelona, who he joined the Manchester club from back in 2010.
Manchester City are unlikely to sell what is one of their best players, even at 31, and Touré has said he is focused on his Ivory Coast role so don’t expect this story to develop further until after the World Cup is over.
