Marvel’s latest adventure sees the usually Earth-centric superhero studio set off on a galactic adventure. Considered the riskiest movie the studio has made, the relatively unknown comic series (at least as far as the masses are concerned) sees an ensemble team of criminals banding together as the last hope of the galaxy.
The studio, and director James Gunn, don’t seem at all worried about the challenges, as they defiantly throw out exciting trailers to hype their upcoming space romp. The latest, an international trailer for U.K. audiences, continues the trend. The trailer (above) shows off plenty of exposition for each of the five members and the plot, but is still filled with breathtaking visuals, plenty of actions and some solid laughs.
Guardians of the Galaxy sees Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) and Groot (Vin Diesel) as the unlikely team to save the universe. They will be joined by Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Djimon Hounsou, and Benicio del Toro when they hit cinemas on August 1st.
