Last week Nikki Fenke published a “leaked” slate of DC movies, adding the likes of Wonder Woman, a Green Lantern and Flash team-up movie and Shazam! to the line-up of known films Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and Sandman. The list seemed dubious due to a huge amount of blind faith from Warner Bros. to the success of Dawn of Justice and Justice League to warrant the other pictures being released so close to each other.
But now, Kevin Smith has come out in support of the claims, saying that he has heard similar rumblings. “I looked at [the] list and I was like, yeah, that’s what I heard, that’s what I was told,” says Smith, who answered questions of his sources with, “I know people, motherfucker”.
Smith is, of course, no stranger to comic books or the Warner/DC movie slate thanks to his close friendship with new Batman, Ben Affleck, so it is hardly a stretch to imagine him having information. It is possible that he too has heard incorrect information, but it is certainly looking more likely now than ever.
