It is hardly a secret that WWE fans are frustrated at the company’s refusal to push one of their most talented superstars, Dolph Ziggler. Arenas around the world can be heard chanting “We want Ziggler!” and the internet is filled with calls for the ‘Show Off’ to receive what the majority believe belongs to him.
One of the wrestling’s biggest legends, Ric Flair, also shares the same sentiment. He has been vocal of his support of Ziggler in the past, and now PWMania are reporting that he has gone as far as to tell WWE management, but he was met with a less than welcome response.
Reader Aaron Moss sent word that he met Ric Flair at an event this past week and while getting an autograph, mentioned to Flair that he should demand that WWE officials let him resurrect Dolph Ziggler’s career. According to Aaron, Flair responded that he tried more than once but officials would not budge on their decision.
This would fit recent interviews that Flair has given that have seen him say he would like to manage Dolph to help him get to the main event picture.
Some believe that the pairing could bring back the Four Horsemen, with Ziggler in the Flair role. There is little doubt that he would excel in such a position and WWE have had big success with stables recently, yet the company still appears disinterested.
